Councilman Morina stated he had a conversation with the owner of Classic Auto who informed him that a Police Officer stopped into the shop and stated to him that he did not know why the owner would want to buy a business in Paulsboro.  He felt the Officer was putting down the town a little bit.  Councilman Morina felt everyone should be on the “same page” and the town should move forward.

There was further discussion regarding the active cases which will be coming to fruition in the next few weeks; the Housing Officer, Class II Special Officer’s rate of pay and a disciplined Officer.

Chief Grogan stated the rate of pay issue has to be resolved and he is pretty sure the Borough will need a Hearing Officer for the disciplinary action.

Councilman Kidd stated the report that is received from the Chief is very helpful which also let’s Council know how busy the Officers are and also lets Council know how they could help.
