Holiday Greetings:

The 2006 Christmas Parade

BOROUGH OF PAULSBORO
December 2, 2006

Matthew's first Christmas parade was a thrilling event!

The Paulsboro Boys U-10 Youth Soccer Team
won their division championship recently.

Kathy and son Nicholas proudly display
the winning soccer trophy. She
chauffeured the team in the parade.

Many homes along the parade route
exhibited holiday spirit.

This ambulance was decorated
inside and outside.

Parade watchers viewed the floats
adorned with festive lights.

Kenny, of the Paulsboro High School Band,
was one of the young musical performers
who played to celebrate this event.

When Santa stopped by to greet people,
he found Wayne Farrow (on left)
and his grandson DeJon.

DeJon enjoyed meeting Santa.

Hot chocolate was a perfect treat
on this cold December evening.

Paulsboro High School Football Coach Glen Howard
accepts the microphone from
Paulsboro Mayor John Burzichelli.
Howard led the team to
another division title earlier in the day.
Congratulations team!

Santa inspired the crowds with his thoughts.

Paulsboro Mayor John Burzichelli (on right)
led the countdown to light the
Christmas Tree.
Coach Glen Howard (on left) and Santa
had the honor of switching on the tree lights.

The American flag flies over the Christmas tree
as the moon glows in the distance.

The Grinch had to be escorted
to stay out of mischief.

Santa posed for pictures...

...with children of all ages.

Christmas lights glow on the parade
route through Paulsboro.

Enjoy your
holiday celebrations!
