Holiday Greetings:

The 2005 Christmas Parade

BOROUGH OF PAULSBORO
December 3, 2005

Great news--it's true--Santa Claus is a Paulsboro Red Raider fan!
He wore a Paulsboro High School football shirt over his red and
white coat in honor of the team winning their Division Title in overtime earlier in the day.
Congratulations team!

Paulsboro fire trucks were
trimmed with Christmas lights.

Ross, 4, and Diane had a merry time.

This parade float held the PHS winning
football team and some of their fans.

PHS Football Coach Glenn Howard thanked his
team, their families and fans, and the midget
football coaches for the teams' success.

Connie's storefront was bright and adorned
with festive lights as parade watchers started to gather.

The Burlingames, Judy, Tyler and Ashly, had a wonderful week. Tyler was part of the Oilers Unlimited football team who won their division last week. He was privileged to be part of the All-Star Division team who won today. There he won the Defensive MVP!

parade participants as t
he snowglobe float rolls by.

Councilman John Giovannitti and wife, Sheri,
hold their daughter. They were all bundled up
on this chilly evening.

Downtown was bustling with townspeople
participating in the Christmas parade.

Danielle, Paige and Cassie had a
good spot to view the parade.

Members of the Guardian Angels
Regional School sang a Christmas tune...

...as the microphone gets passed around
to hear the children's voices.

Mayor John Burchizelli (on left) led the celebration and
introduced Santa, who is proud to be a Paulsboro football fan.
Councilman Joe Kidd is in the center.

Anna is so excited about the holidays.

The countdown begins to switch on the light
for the Official Paulsboro Christmas Tree...

...and the switch is down to the crowds delight!

The Christmas parade event moved into the
Borough Hall so the children could talk to Santa,
get a picture with him, and receive a holiday gift treat.

Cheyenne and Daniel are happy
with their treats from Santa.

Brianna was one of many happy children
who got their picture taken with Santa.

Jade and Scarlet smiled for
their photo with Santa.

Christmas lights glow in front of the Borough Hall
as the crowd strolls around.

Enjoy your
holiday celebrations!
