The Centennial Christmas Parade

of Paulsboro!

BOROUGH OF PAULSBORO
December 4, 2004

Santa Claus waved to
the Paulsboro townspeople.

Paulsboro fire trucks were
decorated with Christmas lights.

Lynette Milanese of the Poet's Society
spread holiday cheer to the spectators.

On the "Jesus is the Light" mini-float,
a "little light" waves. This entry was sponsored
by St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

Next in the parade line was Pat Relations
with a beautiful antique 1901 specialty car.

Crowds of family members,
including the Loughlin's,
lined the streets.

Dylan, Michelle, Brittany and Joe
enjoyed all the holiday excitement.

The Guardian Angel’s Regional School
paraded on this chilly evening.

Members of the Guardian Angel’s
Regional School tossed
treats to the crowd.

Norberts Jewelers business manager Margie McBee
came out of work, escorted by her husband, Frank,
to see the parade roll right by the storefront.

Centennial Chairperson Elsie Tedeski
strolled the route handing out
celebration ribbons.

Children of all ages had
a good time at the event.

Mayor John Burzichelli announced
the evenings festivities.

This Christmas parade event had
an exceptionally large crowd.

Guardian Angel’s Regional School

for the spectators.

is a senior at PHS.

The Paulsboro High School Band
performed several songs.

Vendors sold colorful
fiber optic glow sticks.

Troy Bennett and Santa await the cue to light Paulsboro’s
Christmas Tree from Mayor Burzichelli. Bennett is a former
member of the undefeated PHS football team, a 189lb. State
Wrestler runner-up and a senior at Temple University where he
played football. Santa delivers joy and toys.

The special guests threw the
switch to light the tree.

The tree did not light, because the Grinch was caught
fiddling with the lights outside of Paulsboro’s Borough Hall.

Paulsboro Police Officer John Haase
arrested the Grinch and approached
the platform were Councilman
Joe Kidd stood waiting.

The switch was thrown for the second time…

…with beautiful results,
the Centennial Christmas Tree!

John DeStefano and family
got in line to see Santa.

Local townspeople
enjoyed the gathering.

brother, Alex, stands waiting with Frosty.
Valero volunteers assisted in holiday style.

candy cane treats for the children.

An excited youngster,
